Sales Officer

Hiring: Sales Officer (SO) – FMCG

Locations: Dhanbad, Darbhanga, Lucknow, Dehradun

Industry: FMCG – Spices / Dry Fruits / Packaged Foods

Experience: 1–3 Years Preferred

Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Market Coverage· Handle General Trade sales in assigned territory.

· Visit retail markets, kirana stores, wholesalers, and distributors regularly.

· Ensure product availability and visibility in the market.

· Achieve monthly sales and collection targets.

· Expand retail coverage and increase secondary sales.

Distributor Handling· Coordinate with distributors for billing and stock movement.

· Ensure timely order generation and proper market servicing.

· Support distributors in increasing retailer reach.

· Monitor stock availability and reduce stock-outs.

Market Development· Appoint new retailers in assigned territory.

· Execute company schemes, promotions, and product launches.

· Develop market presence up to Tehsil / Block level.

· Track competitor activities and provide market feedback.

Reporting & Coordination· Submit daily sales reports and market updates.

· Maintain retailer and distributor data.

· Coordinate with ASM regarding market issues and opportunities.

Preferred Candidate Background· Spices Brands

· Dry Fruits / Premium Food Products

· Packaged FMCG Products

· Tea / Pan Masala / Cigarette

· Regional Namkeen / Local Food Brands

Required Skills & Experience· Experience in FMCG General Trade sales

· Knowledge of local markets and distributor network

· Strong communication and retailer handling skills

· Ability to achieve sales targets

· Market expansion capability

· Basic reporting and sales coordination skills

· Two-wheeler preferred for field visits
