Job Description

  • CFO Roles & Responsibilities1. Financial StrategyDevelop and implement the company's financial strategy.
  • Support business growth through financial planning.
  • Advise management on investments and expansion.
  • 2. Financial Planning & AnalysisPrepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets.
  • Analyze profitability, cash flow, and costs.
  • 3. Accounting & Financial ReportingEnsure accurate bookkeeping and accounting.
  • Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • 4. Cash Flow & Treasury ManagementManage working capital and liquidity.
  • Monitor cash inflows and outflows.
  • Oversee banking relationships and fund management.
  • 5. Taxation & Statutory ComplianceEnsure timely filing of GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESIC, and other statutory returns.
  • Coordinate with auditors and regulatory authorities.
  • Maintain compliance with financial laws and regulations.
  • 6. Internal Controls & Risk ManagementEstablish financial policies and internal controls.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Prevent fraud and ensure financial integrity.
  • 7. Audit ManagementCoordinate internal and statutory audits.
  • Resolve audit observations.
  • Ensure implementation of audit recommendations.
  • 8. Cost ControlMonitor operating expenses.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Improve profitability through financial efficiency.
  • 9. Funding & Investor RelationsArrange loans, bank facilities, and working capital.
  • Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Prepare financial information for investors and lenders.
  • 10. Contract & Tender Financial OversightReview financial aspects of tenders and contracts.
  • Monitor bank guarantees (BG), EMDs, performance securities, and payments.
  • Assess financial risks in contracts.
  • 11. Team LeadershipLead the finance and accounts team.
  • Train and mentor finance staff.
  • Allocate work and review team performance.
  • 12. MIS & Business ReportingPrepare MIS reports for management.
  • Present financial insights and KPIs.
  • Support data-driven decision-making.
