Job Description

Job Title: Field Marketing Staff

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Marketing Manager / Sales Manager

Location: As Assigned

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job SummaryThe Field Marketing Staff is responsible for promoting the company's products and brand through field activities, generating new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with customers and dealers, conducting market research, and supporting sales growth in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing & Business DevelopmentVisit assigned markets, retailers, dealers, and distributors on a daily basis.
  • Promote the company's products and offers to existing and potential customers.
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities.
  • Increase brand awareness through field marketing activities.
  • Conduct promotional campaigns, product demonstrations, and customer engagement programs.
  • Market IntelligenceCollect information on competitors' products, pricing, promotions, and market trends.
  • Submit regular market feedback and competitor analysis reports.
  • Identify customer needs and communicate them to management.
  • Sales SupportAssist the sales team in achieving monthly sales targets.
  • Coordinate with retail stores and wholesale customers regarding promotional activities.
  • Follow up on customer enquiries and convert leads into sales.
  • Support product launches and seasonal marketing campaigns.
  • Customer Relationship ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with retailers, dealers, and customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints or coordinate with the concerned department for timely resolution.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Daily Sales Reports (DSR) and Daily Visit Reports (DVR).
  • Maintain records of customer visits and marketing activities.
  • Report daily achievements, issues, and competitor updates to the reporting manager.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business Administration, 10th or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in field marketing, sales, or business development (freshers with good communication skills may also apply).
  • Valid two-wheeler driving licence (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
  • Customer-focused approach.
  • Good presentation and product demonstration skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and mobile reporting applications.
  • Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
  • Time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Experience (Footwear Retail/Wholesale Industry)Experience in footwear, apparel, FMCG, or retail marketing.

  • Knowledge of retailer and distributor networks.
  • Familiarity with merchandising and in-store promotions. (added advantage)
