Job Description

  • Set up and operate Manual and Hydraulic surface grinding machines to grind flat or contoured surfaces of metal or plastic workpieces, following approved procedures and specifications.
  • Inspect and measure workpieces using gauges, micrometers, and templates to ensure surfaces and dimensions meet quality standards.
  • Adjust machine controls to regulate speed, feed rate, and grinding wheel alignment for optimal performance
  • Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn or broken machine parts 
  • Coordinate with team members including laborers, other machine operators, and management to meet production targets Indeed.
  • Follow safety protocols and wear protective equipment like safety glasses, earplugs, steel-toed boots, and respirators when required
