Accountant

Position: Accounting & Taxation Staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
• Prepare, maintain, and finalize books of accounts and financial records.
• Finalize Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, and other financial statements.
• Manage GST compliance, including GST return filing, reconciliation, and related documentation.
• Handle TDS calculations, deductions, return filing, and reconciliation.
• Prepare and file Income Tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws.
• Manage ROC (Registrar of Companies) compliance, including annual filings and statutory documentation.
• Perform debtor and creditor reconciliation, including debtor matching and follow-up.
• Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist during statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable accounting standards and statutory regulations.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for accounting and taxation purposes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), M.Com, or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting and taxation.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and ROC compliance.
• Experience in Balance Sheet finalization.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
• Good analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet statutory deadlines.
