Job Title: Business Development Manager (Collections & Recovery)

Location: Bangalore

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in Collections, Recovery, and Team Management. The ideal candidate should have experience in Banking, NBFC, Fintech, Paint Industry, or similar sectors and be capable of driving recovery operations while managing field teams and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead collections and recovery operations across assigned territories.
• Monitor outstanding payments and ensure timely recovery from customers, dealers, or business partners.
• Handle escalations and resolve collection-related issues effectively.
• Drive team performance through regular monitoring, coaching, and field support.
• Develop strategies to improve collection efficiency and reduce overdue accounts.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth recovery operations.
• Prepare and present collection performance reports to management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in Collections, Recovery, Receivables Management, or Credit Control.
• Experience from Banking, NBFC, Fintech (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BharatPe, etc.), Paint Industry, or Logistics sectors.
• Strong team handling and people management skills.
• Experience managing field collection teams is preferred.
• Good negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle challenging recovery situations and escalations.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Candidates with experience in recovery operations, dealer collections, field collections, or receivables management.
• Proven track record of achieving collection targets.
• Comfortable traveling within the assigned territory as required.
