2D Cad Designer

We are looking for a skilled CAD Designer who can create accurate 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for our products. The ideal candidate should have good technical understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to convert product ideas, samples, sketches, or reference images into precise CAD designs ready for manufacturing.

The candidate will work closely with our product, manufacturing, and design teams to develop new product designs, modify existing designs, and prepare production-ready drawings.

• Key ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed 2D technical drawings and 3D CAD models for products.
• Convert sketches, product samples, reference images, or concepts into CAD designs.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, materials, and finishing details.
• Modify and improve existing product designs based on feedback.
• Create exploded views, assembly drawings, and product renders when required.
• Ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, and cost-effective.
• Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and internal teams for design finalization.
• Maintain proper version control and organized CAD files.
• Required SkillsStrong knowledge of 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
• Hands-on experience with software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Rhino, Catia, Creo, or similar CAD tools.
• Ability to understand product dimensions, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Good understanding of technical drawings, tolerances, and production requirements.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work from physical samples, rough sketches, or reference images.
• Basic knowledge of rendering will be an added advantage.
• Preferred CandidateExperience in product design, industrial design, mechanical design, jewellery design, furniture hardware, consumer products, or manufacturing-related CAD.
• Should be creative but also practical with manufacturing feasibility.
• Should be able to deliver designs within timelines.
• Portfolio or previous CAD work samples are mandatory.
