Tool and Die Maker

We are seeking a skilled Die Maker to design, build, maintain, and repair dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures used in manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in precision machining, toolmaking, and reading technical drawings, along with the ability to troubleshoot and improve tooling performance for efficient production.

• Key ResponsibilitiesManufacture new dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures as per engineering drawings and specifications.
• Set up and operate machining equipment such as milling machines, lathes, grinders, CNC machines, and EDM machines.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair existing dies to ensure optimum performance.
• Perform die fitting, polishing, and adjustments to achieve required tolerances.
• Interpret technical drawings, CAD files, and blueprints accurately.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on all tools and dies to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot die-related issues during manufacturing.
• Modify and upgrade dies for improved efficiency, durability, and quality output.
• Maintain records of die usage, maintenance, and modifications.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized workspace.

Required Skills & QualificationsITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making or equivalent technical qualification.

• Minimum 10-15 years experience as a Die Maker (Press Tools, Injection Molds, or related tooling).
• Strong knowledge of tool steels, heat treatment, tolerances, and machining processes.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge etc.).
• Hands-on experience with manual and CNC machining equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tooling tasks.
