Role Overview

We're looking for a hands-on WordPress & Shopify Developer who can independently build, customize, and maintain high-performance websites and e-commerce stores across our brand portfolio. You'll work closely with our marketing and design teams to deliver conversion-optimized, brand-aligned digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Shopify Development

• Build, customize, and maintain Shopify storefronts for D2C brandsscribd
• Work with Liquid, JSON templates, sections, metafields, and dynamic blocks
• Customize and optimize Shopify themes (Dawn or custom) for performance and UXscribd
• Integrate third-party apps, payment gateways, and shipping solutionscareers.projectassistant
• Handle store migrations, redirects, and Shopify SEO best practicesscribd
• Optimize for Core Web Vitals, page speed, and mobile-first experience

WordPress Development

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites including WooCommerce setups
• Work with page builders — Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery
• Build and customize themes and plugins as needed
• Handle migrations, hosting setup, and security updatescareers.projectassistant
• Optimize sites for speed, SEO, and performance

General

• Collaborate with the marketing team on landing pages and campaign microsites
• Manage multiple projects and brand websites simultaneouslyscribd
• Troubleshoot bugs, plugin conflicts, and performance issuesexpertia
• Integrate third-party tools (Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, CRM, WhatsApp APIs, etc.)
