VFD Repair & Programming Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Drive, PCB, or UPS Repair Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over three years of hands-on experience in repairing and troubleshooting drives, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). This role involves diagnosing faults, conducting repairs, and ensuring that all equipment is restored to optimal performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Diagnostic and Repair:

• Diagnose and repair faulty drives, PCBs, and UPS units.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to identify issues and implement effective repair solutions.
• Perform component-level troubleshooting and repairs on electronic circuits and systems.

1. Maintenance and Testing:

• Conduct routine maintenance and testing of drives, PCBs, and UPS systems to ensure reliability and performance.
• Use oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other testing equipment to verify repairs and functionality.
• Implement preventive maintenance measures to minimize equipment downtime.

1. Technical Support:

• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and customers regarding repairs and maintenance.
• Assist in the development and updating of technical documentation and repair procedures.

1. Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in repair and maintenance procedures.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and repair techniques.

1. Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent hazards and ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in repairing and troubleshooting drives, PCBs, and UPS systems.
• Skills:
• Proficient in using diagnostic and testing tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators).
• Strong understanding of electronic circuit design and component functions.
• Excellent soldering and de-soldering skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in electronics repair or a related field are a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment as required.
• Good manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
• Ability to work in various environments, including standing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
