Relationship Manager

Core Responsibilities

• Farmer & Landowner Engagement: Build trust with local farmers, educate them on sustainable agroforestry practices.
• Business Development: Identify new regions for agroforestry expansion and onboard new farmers or institutional clients into the company's network. 
• Contract Management: Oversee the end-to-end execution of agreements, ensuring compliance with both environmental regulations and company yield targets. 
• Supply Chain & Yield Monitoring: Coordinate with internal agronomy teams to track tree/crop growth, resolve operational issues, and facilitate smooth harvesting and logistics.
• Financial Oversight: Manage payments, assist with credit/loan linkages (if applicable), and track the return on investment (ROI) for both the company and the growers. 

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Forestry, Agriculture, Agribusiness, or a related Business/Marketing field.
• Experience: Typically 2-5 years in client-facing roles, sales, or agricultural extension work.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills. Must be fluent .
• Industry Knowledge: An understanding of sustainable farming, organic certification, and rural market dynamics.
