Dispatch Supervisor

• Key ResponsibilitiesDispatch PlanningPlan daily dispatch schedule as per customer commitments.
• Coordinate with Production, QC, Packing, and Stores departments.
• Ensure all ready material is dispatched on time.
• Prioritize urgent and high-value customer orders.
• Dispatch OperationsSupervise loading and unloading activities.
• Verify material quantity, quality, and packing before dispatch.
• Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) is followed wherever applicable.
• Prevent wrong dispatches and shortages.
• DocumentationPrepare and verify:
• Invoice
• E-Way Bill
• LR (Lorry Receipt)
• Delivery Challan
• Transport Documents
• Maintain proper dispatch records.
• Transport CoordinationCoordinate with transporters for vehicle availability.
• Track dispatched consignments.
• Resolve transportation issues.
• Ensure timely vehicle placement.
• Team ManagementSupervise dispatch staff and helpers.
• Allocate daily work.
• Monitor productivity.
• Maintain discipline and safety.
• Inventory CoordinationCoordinate with Store department.
• Ensure stock accuracy before dispatch.
• Report shortages immediately.

ReportingPrepare daily reports such as:

• Daily Dispatch Report
• Pending Dispatch Report
• Vehicle Dispatch Report
• Transport Cost Report
• Delivery Status Report
• Safety & ComplianceEnsure safe loading practices.
• Follow company SOPs.
• Maintain housekeeping in dispatch area.
• Follow all safety guidelines.
