Job Summary:The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, maintaining, and reporting business data to support management in decision-making. The role involves preparing MIS reports, maintaining dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, monitoring operational performance, and providing analytical insights to improve productivity and business efficiency.

• Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesCollect, organize, validate, and maintain data from various departments, including Sales, Operations, Production, Dispatch, Inventory, Procurement, and Accounts.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and business performance reports for management.
• Analyze sales, production, inventory, dispatch, and financial data to identify trends, monitor KPIs, and support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain Excel-based trackers, automated reports, dashboards, and data management systems using advanced Excel functions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness by performing regular data validation and reconciliation.
• Generate customized reports as required by management and provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect data, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely submission of reports.
• Maintain databases, ERP records, and business information while ensuring confidentiality and data security.
• Monitor business performance indicators and recommend process improvements based on data analysis.
• Support management with presentations, forecasting, budgeting data, and ad hoc analytical reports.
• QualificationsBachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Applications, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in MIS reporting, data analysis, or business reporting.
• Required SkillsAdvanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF, SUMIFS, Charts, Dashboards).
• Proficiency in Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of Power BI for dashboard creation and data visualization.
• Experience with ERP software, Busy, Tally, or similar business systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good communication and report presentation skills.
• Basic knowledge of SQL is an added advantage.
