Data Entry Operator

Core Responsibilities

• Data Input: Accurately transfer text, numbers, and codes from paper documents, PDFs, or audio files into company databases or spreadsheets. [1, 2]
• Quality Assurance: Verify information for accuracy, cross-check against source documents, and identify and correct discrepancies before finalizing. [1, 2]
• Database Maintenance: Update existing records, categorize files, and organize information to optimize swift and easy retrieval. [1, 2]

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Typing Proficiency: High typing speed (WPM) and minimal error rates.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to spot minor errors or inconsistencies in large volumes of information.
• Software Competency: Strong working knowledge of office suites, specifically Microsoft Excel and Google Docs. Experience with QuickBooks or enterprise systems (like Oracle) is a plus.
