Construction / Site Supervisor

Core Responsibilities

• Site Management & Supervision: Overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure work is proceeding according to the construction drawings and project timelines. This includes coordinating subcontractors, laborers, and heavy machinery.
• Quality Control & Compliance: Ensuring all materials used (concrete, steel, etc.) and completed work meet strict engineering standards, safety regulations, and building codes. This often involves regular site inspections and testing.
• Technical Problem Solving: Identifying and addressing technical issues as they arise. When a design detail is impractical or unexpected site conditions (like poor soil) occur, the site engineer must propose viable, safe solutions.
• Resource Management: Tracking material inventory, managing equipment deployment, and ensuring that resources are utilized efficiently to minimize waste and costs.
• Project Documentation: Maintaining detailed records, including daily progress reports, site diaries, safety logs, and updated project schedules.
