Job Title: Senior Accountant

Experience: Minimum 5+ years

Location: Andheri, Mumbai

Shift: Monday to Saturday (10 Am to 6 Pm)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with strong accounting fundamentals and hands-on experience in statutory compliance, taxation, financial reporting, and audit coordination. The ideal candidate should possess excellent knowledge of accounting processes, compliance requirements, and practical exposure to handling end-to-end accounts operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Finance

• Handle day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations and expense verification
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and documentation

Statutory Compliance

• Handle GST compliance including return filing, reconciliation, and notices
• Manage TDS calculation, deduction, payment, and return filing
• Ensure compliance with Income Tax, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Support during statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits

Financial Controls & Reporting

• Assist in finalization of accounts and preparation of financial statements
• Prepare MIS reports and management reports
• Monitor financial transactions and identify discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation
• Practical experience in GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and statutory compliance
• Experience in finalization of accounts and audit handling
• Proficiency in Tally ERP / ERP systems and MS Excel
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Semi-qualified CA with relevant industry experience (Mandatory)
• Ability to independently handle accounts and compliance activities
• Experience working in manufacturing, trading, retail, or service industry preferred
• Good communication and coordination skills
