Job Description
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage general ledger accounting and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports for management.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and accounting standards.
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reports, and documentation.
Review accounts payable and accounts receivable processes for accuracy and efficiency.
Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and controls.
Supervise junior accounting staff, if applicable.
Coordinate with other departments regarding financial matters and reporting needs.
