The Opportunity

We’re looking for passionate and empathetic Creative Writing Teachers who enjoy nurturing young minds and making writing fun, engaging, and meaningful.

You’ll teach students from Grades 3 to 6 through live 1:1 online sessions using Codingal’s structured curriculum and interactive teaching tools. If you enjoy inspiring children to think creatively, express their ideas confidently, and develop strong writing skills, we’d love to connect with you.

What You'll Do

• Deliver engaging 45-minute live 1:1 online lessons on Creative Writing for Grades 3–6 students.
• Conduct trial/demo classes to showcase course value and personalize learning approaches.
• Inspire creativity and self-expression through storytelling, character-building activities, creative prompts, and interactive writing exercises.
• Teach fundamental writing skills including story structure, descriptive writing, dialogue, poetry, and narrative techniques.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive, encouraging feedback to students and parents.
• Support student growth by conducting doubt-clearing sessions, PTMs, and additional guidance classes when required.
• Collaborate with curriculum and academic teams to continuously improve lesson delivery and student engagement.
• Create a positive, empathetic, and motivating classroom environment that encourages students to explore their creativity.

What We're Looking For Must-Have

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in English, Literature, Journalism, Mass Communication, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of teaching experience in Creative Writing, English Language Arts (ELA), Language Arts, or related subjects.
• Excellent English communication and strong written expression skills.
• Demonstrated ability to teach storytelling, creative thinking, and writing fundamentals to young learners.
• Strong empathy and patience while working with children and beginner writers.
• Comfortable using online teaching tools such as Zoom, PPTs, shared documents, quizzes, and interactive platforms.
• Reliable work setup with laptop/desktop, webcam, microphone, and stable internet connection.

Good to Have

• Experience teaching K-12 students in online or EdTech environments.
• Experience in writing, blogging, journalism, content creation, or publishing.
• Familiarity with activity-based and student-centric learning methodologies.
• Ability to create highly engaging and interactive writing sessions.
• Growth mindset with eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving teaching practices.

Availability & Commitment

• Minimum 2 to 4 teaching hours daily (approximately 45 minutes per class).
• Flexible scheduling options based on your availability.
• Must be available for demos, onboarding, and training sessions within the 2-week hiring timeline.
• Weekend and evening availability is an added advantage.

Compensation & Benefits

• Revenue-sharing model: Earn 30% of the net course class fee paid by your students.
• Minimum guaranteed payout of INR 200–400 per class depending on grade, region, and teacher experience.
• Additional Monthly Minimum Guarantee up to ₹16,000 during the first 6 months for income stability.
• Student retention incentives with progressive revenue share bonuses up to 14%.
