Job Description
Job Title: Shopify Backend Developer
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Shopify Backend Developer to build, customize, and maintain Shopify-based eCommerce websites and applications. The ideal candidate should have experience with Shopify APIs, app development, third-party integrations, and backend performance optimization.
- Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain custom Shopify backend functionalities.
- Build and integrate Shopify apps using Shopify APIs (REST & GraphQL).
- Implement and manage webhooks, metafields, and custom data structures.
- Integrate payment gateways, shipping providers, CRM, ERP, and other third-party services.
- Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend-related issues.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and project managers.
- Maintain code quality, documentation, and best development practices.
- Required Skills:Strong knowledge of Shopify platform and Shopify Plus.
- Experience with Shopify APIs, GraphQL, REST APIs, and Webhooks.
- Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, or PHP/Laravel.
- Good understanding of Shopify Liquid.
- Experience with database management and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of Git, version control, and deployment processes.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
