Collections Tele Caller

Job Summary

We are looking for a clear-spoken, persuasive, and patient Collections Telecaller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for contacting customers who have overdue payments, reminding them of their outstanding balances, and helping them find ways to clear their dues.

Your main goal is to recover outstanding payments while maintaining a polite, professional, and positive relationship with our customers.

Key Responsibilities

·      Customer Contact: Make daily outbound calls to customers regarding overdue bills or loan payments.

·      Payment Resolution: Inform customers about their outstanding balances, explain payment terms, and encourage timely repayment.

·      Negotiation: Understand the customer's financial situation and negotiate realistic payment plans or settlements when necessary.

·      Record Keeping: Accurately update customer details, call logs, and payment commitments in the company database.

·      Follow-ups: Keep track of promised payment dates and follow up with customers if the payment is not received.

·      Compliance: Maintain professional phone etiquette and follow all legal and company guidelines for collections.

Requirements & Skills

·      Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Graduate degree is a plus).

·      Experience: Previous experience in telecalling, customer service, or collections is preferred but not mandatory.

·      Communication: Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.

·      Language: Fluency in English/Kannada/Tamil/Telugu/Hindi (Any 2 regional langauges). 

·      Traits: Strong negotiation skills, patience, and the ability to handle stressful or difficult conversations calmly.

·      Tech Skills: Basic computer knowledge (Data entry, typing, and using CRM or calling software).
