Job Description
We are looking for an innovative Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and improve Rotary Drum Filters (RDF), PP tanks, Bakki Showers, filtration equipment, and other custom aquaculture products.
Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical products using SolidWorks or Fusion 360.
- Develop new RDF models and improve existing designs.
- Design PP tanks, filter housings, and custom equipment.
- Prepare manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, exploded views, and BOMs.
- Coordinate with fabrication, machining, laser cutting, and vendors.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and improve product performance.
- Build and test prototypes before production.
- Visit fabrication workshops and customer sites to resolve technical issues.
Requirements:
- Diploma/BE in Mechanical, Production, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or Fusion 360 (Mandatory).
- Strong understanding of fabrication, welded structures, mechanical assemblies, and industrial equipment.
- Knowledge of pumps, motors, bearings, shafts, seals, and piping systems is preferred.
- Experience with product development and prototype testing is an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to innovate.
