Job Title: Librarian

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and organized Librarian to manage library resources, assist visitors in locating information, and maintain an efficient and welcoming library environment. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize, classify, and maintain books, journals, magazines, and digital resources.
• Issue, receive, renew, and track library materials.
• Assist students, staff, or visitors in locating books and research materials.
• Maintain accurate records of library inventory and membership.
• Catalog new books and update library databases.
• Ensure proper shelving and arrangement of library materials.
• Promote reading programs, library events, and educational activities.
• Monitor overdue books and collect fines, if applicable.
• Maintain a quiet, clean, and organized library environment.
• Coordinate with vendors for the purchase of books and other library resources.
• Support users with online databases, e-books, and digital library systems.
