Job Summary

The Civil Engineer will assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring construction projects. The role involves site supervision, quality checks, quantity estimation, contractor coordination, and ensuring project activities are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities at project sites. 

• Monitor work progress and ensure compliance with project schedules. 

• Review construction drawings and assist in resolving site-related technical issues. 

• Conduct site inspections and quality checks for civil works. 

• Assist in quantity estimation, measurement, and preparation of bills. 

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and project stakeholders. 

• Track material requirements and monitor material consumption. 

• Ensure adherence to safety standards and company procedures. 

• Maintain project records, site reports, and progress documentation. 

• Support project engineers and managers in project execution and completion. 

• Verify work completion against approved specifications and drawings. 

• Participate in project meetings and provide status updates. 

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of construction methods and civil engineering principles. 

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 

• Understanding of quantity estimation and billing processes. 

• Knowledge of quality control and site supervision practices. 

• Good communication and coordination skills. 

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. 

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with MS Project 

• Exposure to residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects. 

• Knowledge of local construction codes and standards.
