Job Description
Create and modify 2D/3D models for decorative wood carvings, panels, doors, and furniture components. Prepare precise 2D CNC drawings and technical layouts from initial sketches or site measurements.Generate efficient CNC toolpaths, select appropriate cutters/bits, and optimize nesting for maximum material efficiency and minimal waste.Ensure the precision of dimensions, symmetry, and fit of furniture components.Strong expertise in CAD/CAM software like AutoCAD, ArtCAM, Rhino, SolidWorks, or CorelDRAW.Understanding of various furniture materials, including MDF, plywood, solid wood, HDHMR, and laminates.Practical experience setting up, calibrating, and troubleshooting CNC routing machine.Positions can range from purely desk-based CAD/CAM design to "Designer-cum-Operator" roles that require you to also run the CNC router on the factory floor.
