Inventory Manager

Job Summary:

The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records, maintaining optimal inventory availability, and minimizing shortages or excess stock. This role involves coordinating with purchasing, warehouse, sales, and logistics teams to support efficient business operations.

• Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and maintain inventory levels to meet operational and customer demands.
• Track inventory movements, including receipts, transfers, returns, and shipments.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
• Analyze inventory data and generate reports on stock levels, turnover rates, and discrepancies.
• Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices.
• Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to replenish stock as needed.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and stock variances.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and organization of inventory items.
• Manage inventory management systems and maintain accurate records.
• Forecast inventory requirements based on sales trends and business needs.
• Train and supervise inventory staff and warehouse personnel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• QualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain management.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control principles and inventory management software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
