Job Description
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and entries in the accounting system.
- Prepare and process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and bank transactions.
- Reconcile bank accounts, vendor accounts, and customer ledgers on a regular basis.
- Prepare invoices, debit notes, credit notes, and payment follow-ups.
- Handle GST compliance, including:
- Preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
- GST reconciliation and input tax credit verification
- Coordination with consultants for GST-related matters
- Handle TDS compliance, including:
- Deduction and deposit of TDS as per applicable provisions
- Preparation and filing of quarterly TDS returns
- Issuance of TDS certificates
- Assist in statutory compliances such as PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accounting documents, records, and statutory registers.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
- Assist auditors during internal, statutory, GST, and tax audits.
- Prepare MIS reports and other financial reports as required by management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory regulations.
