Job Description
A Service Engineer is a specialized technical professional responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing complex machinery or systems at customer sites to ensure optimal performance. They provide critical, hands-on troubleshooting and technical support, often acting as the direct link between company expertise and client satisfaction.
Maintenance & Installation: Installing new systems, conducting planned preventive maintenance, and commissioning equipment to meet standards.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnosing faults and performing on-site repairs on mechanical, electrical, or software components to minimize downtime.
Customer Support & Training: Providing technical assistance, training users on safe operation, and acting as the face of the company.
Documentation & Reporting: Updating user manuals, maintaining maintenance logs, and preparing detailed service reports and repair quotes.
Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety standards (e.g., risk assessments) and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
