Job Summary

We are looking for energetic and result-oriented Business Development Executives to promote and sell 3kW, 5kW, and other residential rooftop solar systems, as well as small commercial solar projects. The candidate will be responsible for lead generation, customer engagement, site visits, sales conversion, and achieving business targets within the assigned territory.


Key Responsibilities


  • Generate leads through field visits, door-to-door campaigns, references, cold calling, digital leads, and local networking
  • Promote and sell 3kW, 5kW, and higher-capacity residential rooftop solar systems.
  • Identify opportunities in the Residential and Small Commercial segments, including shops, offices, schools, clinics, and other establishments.
  • Educate customers on solar energy benefits, electricity bill savings, ROI, and government subsidy schemes.
  • Conduct customer meetings and preliminary site assessments.
  • Collect site details and coordinate with technical teams for proposal and quotation preparation.
  • Present customized solar solutions and explain installation processes and project timelines.
  • Follow up with prospects and convert leads into successful installations.
  • Coordinate with design, operations, and project execution teams for smooth project delivery.
  • Maintain customer relationships and generate referral business.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and submit daily activity reports to the Reporting Manager.
  • Required Skills & QualificationsDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Field Sales, Business Development, Direct Sales, or Channel Sales.
  • Experience in Solar, Electrical Products, Consumer Durables, Home Improvement Solutions, Telecom, Insurance, Real Estate, or FMCG sales is preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
