Job Description – Channel Development Associate
Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and result-oriented Channel Development Associate to drive channel expansion, strengthen partner relationships, and contribute to business growth. The role involves recruiting and onboarding channel partners, managing partner performance, and leading a team to achieve organizational objectives. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Key Responsibilities: Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to expand the organization's business network.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners to ensure long-term engagement.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential partners.
- Ensure partners comply with company policies, processes, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase partner productivity and market penetration.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets.
- Team Handling & People ManagementLead, mentor, and manage a team of Channel Development Executives/Associates.
- Allocate responsibilities, monitor daily activities, and ensure timely execution of tasks.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review performance and address operational challenges.
- Motivate team members to achieve individual and team goals.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and performance-driven work environment.
- Training & Development: Train newly onboarded team members and channel partners on products, and company policies.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions to improve skills and productivity.
- Identify training needs and implement development plans for continuous learning.
- Support career development and succession planning within the team.
- Performance Management:Track and evaluate team and partner performance using key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide constructive feedback and implement performance improvement plans where required.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on partner activities, and team productivity.
- Coordination & ComplianceCollaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth onboarding and partner support.
- Resolve partner and customer escalations promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of partner interactions and performance metrics.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Prior experience in team handling and people management is preferred.
