Job Description
Job Summary
The Telecaller is responsible for contacting potential and existing customers, generating sales leads, scheduling showroom visits, following up on inquiries, and ensuring excellent customer service to increase furniture sales and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact prospective and existing customers through phone calls.
- Explain furniture products, offers, and ongoing promotions to customers.
- Generate qualified leads and schedule showroom visits.
- Follow up with customers regarding quotations, orders, and pending inquiries.
- Maintain and update customer databases and CRM records.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Coordinate with the sales team for lead conversion and order closure.
- Conduct post-sales follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly calling and lead generation targets.
- Collect customer requirements and share them with the sales team.
- Promote new product launches, seasonal offers, and special campaigns.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Higher Secondary qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in telecalling, telesales, customer service, or sales.
- Experience in retail, furniture, home décor, or consumer products will be an added advantage.
- Required SkillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong convincing and negotiation abilities.
- Customer-focused attitude.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM software).
- Ability to work under targets and deadlines.
- Good listening and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in Tamil and English
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Number of calls made per day.
- Leads generated.
- Showroom visit appointments scheduled.
- Lead-to-sale conversion rate.
- Customer satisfaction score.
- Follow-up completion rate.
Working Conditions
- 6 days working week with Sunday as a week-off.
