Job Description
Position: Team Leader - Tele Sales
Role Summary
The Tele Sales Team Leader is responsible for managing and guiding the tele sales team to achieve business targets, improve productivity, and maintain high standards of customer service. The role involves team supervision, performance monitoring, coaching, and ensuring effective lead conversion.
- Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the tele sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly business targets.
- Monitor daily calling activities and ensure adherence to assigned work schedules.
- Train, mentor, and motivate team members to improve performance and productivity.
- Track and analyze team performance through daily MIS and reports.
- Ensure quality customer interactions and maintain high service standards.
- Allocate leads and monitor lead follow-up activities.
- Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews.
- Identify gaps in performance and implement corrective action plans.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth processing and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and compliance with company policies.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new tele callers.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to management.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Achievement of sales and business targets.
- Team productivity and lead conversion ratio.
- Call quality and customer satisfaction.
- Attendance and discipline within the team.
- Timely submission of reports and MIS.
- Employee development and retention.
- Required Skills Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Target-oriented and result-driven approach.
- Ability to motivate and coach team members.
- Good knowledge of CRM and MS Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Qualification & Experience Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in tele sales.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or loan sales will be an added advantage.
