Reports To-Sales Manager
Job Summary-
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Compressor Sales Executive to promote and sell industrial air compressors and related products. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, maintain strong customer relationships, and achieve sales targets while providing technical support and excellent customer service.
- Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new customers in industrial, manufacturing, engineering, automotive, pharmaceutical, textile, and other target sectors.
- Promote and sell air compressors, compressed air systems, spare parts, and annual maintenance contracts (AMCs).
- Conduct customer visits, understand application requirements, and recommend suitable compressor solutions.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing customers.
- Coordinate with the service and technical teams for product demonstrations, installations, and after-sales support.
- Follow up on inquiries, leads, and pending quotations.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and customer visit reports.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and promotional activities when required.
- Ensure timely payment collection from customers.
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Graduates with relevant sales experience may also apply.
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial product sales, preferably in air compressors, pumps, industrial machinery, or capital equipment.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills may be considered.
- Required Skills
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Technical understanding of industrial compressors and compressed air systems.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Customer relationship management.
- Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively.
- Preferred Experience
- Experience in selling rotary screw compressors, reciprocating compressors, air dryers, filters, or compressed air accessories.
- Knowledge of industrial applications and energy-saving solutions.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Monthly and annual sales achievement.
