About Sobagu

Sobagu is a saree brand that celebrates timeless handloom and artisan-crafted sarees. Our mission is to bring sarees back to everyday lives of our beautiful women with simple, easy to drape & easy to carry everyday sarees. We are looking for a young, energetic, and creative social media enthusiast who lives and breathes Instagram, reels, aesthetics, and storytelling.

This is not a desk-only job. You will be involved in content creation, brand building, customer engagement, and representing Sobagu at exhibitions and pop-up stalls.

Social Media & Brand Evangelist

What You'll Do

Content Creation

Plan, create, and publish content for Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp.

Conceptualize and shoot reels, stories, and lifestyle content.

Create aesthetic, engaging, and trend-driven social media content.

Write captions and content that align with Sobagu's brand voice.

Product Photography & Videography

Photograph sarees, styling looks, and product details.

Shoot aesthetic videos showcasing drapes, fabrics, and styling ideas.

Edit photos and reels using tools like Canva, CapCut, InShot, Lightroom, etc.

Maintain a consistent visual identity across platforms.

Social Media Growth

Stay updated on social media trends, viral formats, and audio trends.

Track content performance and suggest improvements.

Build engagement through comments, DMs, polls, and stories.

Collaborate with influencers and creators when required.

Sales & Brand Events

Represent Sobagu at exhibitions, apartment stalls, flea markets, and pop-up events.

Assist customers with saree selection and styling suggestions.

Capture live content during events and exhibitions.

Help generate leads and sales during offline events.

General Brand Support

Assist in photoshoots and campaign planning.

Help organize content calendars.

Support new product launches and festive campaigns.

Who We're Looking For

Must-Have Skills

Passion for Instagram, reels, fashion, and visual storytelling.

Good eye for aesthetics, photography, and composition.

Comfortable shooting content on a smartphone.

Basic video editing skills.

Strong communication skills in English and Kannada (preferred).

Confident interacting with customers at exhibitions and stalls.

Self-starter who can take ownership and execute ideas independently.

Bonus Points If You...

Love sarees, fashion, textiles, or lifestyle brands.

Have managed an Instagram page before.

Have experience creating viral or high-engagement reels.

Understand influencer marketing.

Have basic graphic design skills.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 6 months, you should be able to:

Create 20–30 quality reels per month.

Maintain a consistent posting calendar.

Increase engagement and follower growth month-on-month.

Build a recognizable visual identity for Sobagu.

Successfully manage content creation during exhibitions and stalls.

Contribute to both online engagement and offline sales.
