Accountant

Vaishnokripa Mercantile is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage financial operations, inventory coordination, and profitability analysis. The candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing stock management, and supporting business decisions through timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage overall store accounting operations and maintain proper records.

- Coordinate with the storekeeper for inventory tracking and reconciliation.

- Monitor and track raw materials and finished goods efficiently.

- Prepare and analyze project-wise profitability reports.

- Conduct monthly profit and loss analysis.

- Handle salary processing and incentive calculations.

- Maintain and monitor stocklevels to avoid shortages or overstocking.

- Create and manage sales orders and purchase orders.

- Prepare and issue quotations to clients.

- Track and manage supervisor expenses with proper documentation.

- Develop and implement a local purchase system for efficient procurement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.

- Strong understanding of accounting and inventory management.

- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally/ERP).

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong coordination and communication abilities.

- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in trading/manufacturing sector.

- Knowledge of GST, taxation, and compliance.
