Job Description
Job Summary :The Debt Recovery Agent is responsible for contacting customers with overdue accounts, negotiating repayment plans, maintaining accurate records of collection activities, and ensuring timely recovery of outstanding debts while delivering excellent customer service.
- Key Responsibilities : Contact customers via phone, email, or other approved communication channels regarding overdue payments.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and overdue accounts.
- Negotiate repayment plans based on customer circumstances and company policies.
- Resolve payment disputes by coordinating with internal departments.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment commitments.
- Monitor payment schedules and follow up on broken promises to pay.
- Ensure compliance with relevant debt collection regulations and company guidelines.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly recovery reports.
- Escalate high-risk or legal recovery cases to the appropriate team.
- Meet assigned collection and recovery targets.
