To conduct accurate
field surveys for property mapping using GIS and modern survey technologies,
ensuring precise data collection, validation, and integration with geospatial
systems for land management and urban planning.
Job Responsibilities
·
Conduct field surveys of properties/plots using DGPS, Total
Station, and mobile GIS applications
·
Capture accurate geo-coordinates, boundaries, and physical attributes
of properties
·
Verify plot details with layout plans and property records
·
Identify and record encroachments, land use deviations, and
missing/duplicate plots
·
Collect attribute data such as ownership, usage,
construction status, etc.
·
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and quality control
during fieldwork
·
Assist in drone survey operations and ground control point (GCP) marking
(if required)
·
Coordinate with GIS analysts and supervisors for data validation
·
Prepare daily survey reports and progress updates
Position Qualification
1 – 3 years’ experience in:
Basic understanding
of GIS concepts
and mapping tools
Ability to read layout plans, cadastral maps,
and satellite imagery
Familiarity with mobile-based survey
applications
GIS /
GPS-based utility mapping projects
Ability to work in field conditions and meet
targets
Education
Qualification
Diploma /
ITI in Civil Engineering/Surveying/Geomatics or GIS Related field
