About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Fiber Network Survey & Asset Documentation Engineer to manage the survey, mapping, and documentation of our underground Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) network spread across Agra. The role focuses on creating an accurate digital asset database to support future network leasing and commercialization.

Key Responsibilities

* Conduct physical surveys of the underground OFC network.

* Capture GPS coordinates, photographs, and route details.

* Prepare and update fiber route maps using Google Earth/GIS.

* Maintain accurate records of fiber routes, ducts, joint boxes, handholes, and manholes.

* Prepare asset documentation in Excel and digital formats.

* Identify damaged or high-risk locations and submit inspection reports.

* Submit weekly progress reports and maintain updated asset records.

Required Skills

* Experience in OFC Survey or Telecom Infrastructure.

* Knowledge of GPS Survey and Google Earth.

* Basic understanding of Fiber Optic Networks.

* Proficiency in MS Excel.

* Good communication and reporting skills.

* Willingness to travel within Agra for field surveys.

Experience: 2–5 years of experience in OFC Survey, Telecom Infrastructure, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with AutoCAD or QGIS.

* Knowledge of OTDR testing and Fiber Splicing.

Qualification

* Diploma or B.Tech in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related field.
