POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an energetic and process-driven Purchase Executive to manage local sourcing and procurement activities at our Agra office. This role focuses strictly on market vendor management, negotiation, order tracking, and inventory fulfillment within India. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sourcing raw materials, local vendor development, cost management, and handling essential purchase documentation.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Local Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and manufacturers of food-grade chemicals, ingredients, or packaging materials.

·        Negotiation & Pricing: Obtain material quotes, analyze price trends, and execute negotiation strategies to secure optimal price points, credit periods, and delivery terms.

·        Purchase Cycle Execution: Raise accurate Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up regularly to ensure supplier delivery schedules are met.

·        Logistics & Dispatch Tracking: Coordinate freight logistics, tracking dispatches from supplier factories across India to our storage facilities/warehouses.

·        Quality & Bill Verification: Verify inwarded goods against POs for quality and count; match supplier commercial invoices with physical goods received to clear bills for the accounts department.

·        Coordination & Stock Management: Collaborate with production, warehouse managers, and sales teams to accurately forecast local demand and maintain optimal inventory safety stock levels.


REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

·        Education: Graduate (B.Sc., B.Com., BBA, or related field). Knowledge or background in food chemistry or FMCG is a strong plus.

·        Experience: 2 to 4 years of solid experience working in a purchase, sourcing, or local procurement executive role.

·        Technical Skills: High proficiency in MS Excel (data sorting, pivot tables, and essential formulas) and experience operating ERP systems or Tally.

·        Negotiation & Communication: Exceptional Hindi and functional English communication skills (both spoken and written) for regular vendor discussions.

·        Attention to Detail: Accustomed to inspecting product specifications, batch numbers, commercial invoices, and tax implications (GST).
