Job Summary:

SEA NEWS is seeking an experienced and dynamic Trainer to enhance the professional skills, communication standards, and operational efficiency of employees across departments. The ideal candidate should possess strong training and facilitation skills, experience in employee development, and the ability to design and deliver impactful training programs in a professional media environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deliver training programs for new and existing employees.
• Conduct induction and onboarding sessions for newly recruited staff.
• Identify training needs and create customized learning modules.
• Improve employees' communication, presentation, and professional development skills.
• Conduct soft skills, behavioral, customer service, and performance improvement training sessions.
• Monitor employee progress and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and feedback.
• Prepare training materials, presentations, manuals, and learning resources.
• Coordinate with department heads to identify skill gaps and training requirements.
• Maintain training records, reports, and performance metrics.
• Ensure employees adhere to organizational policies, standards, and workplace culture.

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate or Postgraduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, Training & Development, Mass Communication, or any related field.
• Professional certifications in Training & Development will be an added advantage.

Required Skills:

• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and coaching abilities.
• Ability to conduct engaging classroom and virtual training sessions.
• Excellent interpersonal and mentoring skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple training assignments.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Age between 32–40 years.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Training, Learning & Development, Corporate Training, or Employee Development.
• Prior experience in the Media, Broadcasting, News, or Corporate sector will be preferred.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
