Account Assistant

Job Title: Accounting Assistant – Food Industry

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant with working knowledge of GST, taxation, e-invoice, e-way bill, Tally, and goods movement documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/Tally Prime.
• Prepare sales, purchase, payment, receipt, debit note, and credit note entries.
• Generate and verify GST invoices, e-invoices, and e-way bills.
• Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse, transporters, and sales/purchase teams for goods movement documents.
• Reconcile supplier, customer, transporter, bank, and GST ledgers.
• Assist in GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation, TDS, TCS, and basic tax compliance.
• Verify purchase invoices with PO, GRN, delivery challan, and quantity received.
• Maintain records for stock transfers, sample dispatches, returns, and job work.
• Support inventory, batch-wise/lot-wise records, and basic MIS reporting.
• Assist in audits, statutory records, and documentation required in the food/FMCG industry.

Requirements: B.Com/M.Com or relevant accounting qualification, 1–3 years of experience, good knowledge of Tally, GST portal, e-way bill/e-invoice systems, Excel, and basic taxation.
