🔍 Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accounts Executive / Sr. Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations with a strong focus on GST, TDS, and taxation compliance.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in handling statutory compliance, financial reporting, reconciliations, and working closely with auditors and consultants. This role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and the ability to manage financial data efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

Maintain accurate books of accounts and record day-to-day financial transactions

Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and ledgers

Handle month-end and year-end closing activities

GST & Taxation Compliance (Core Focus)

Ensure complete compliance with GST regulations including:

GST returns filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)

Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation

GST data validation and reporting

Manage TDS compliance including:

TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing

Reconciliation of TDS with books and government portals

Stay updated with latest taxation laws and statutory changes

Reconciliations & Controls

Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations

Identify discrepancies and resolve them in a timely manner

Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data

Payables, Receivables & Documentation

Manage invoicing, billing, payments, and expense tracking

Maintain proper financial documentation and audit trails

Ensure compliance with internal financial controls

Audit & Compliance

Assist in internal and external audits

Coordinate with CA firms, auditors, and tax consultants

Ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory requirements

🧠 Required Skills & Competencies

Strong expertise in GST, TDS, and Taxation (Mandatory)

In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting

Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced level preferred)

Hands-on experience with Tally, Zoho Books, or ERP systems

Strong analytical and numerical skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to handle reconciliations and compliance independently

Good communication and coordination skills

🎓 Educational Qualification

B.Com / M.Com / Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience working with a CA firm

Experience in handling multi-entity or high-volume transactions

Knowledge of financial audits and compliance frameworks
