Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform argon/TIG welding operations according to project requirements and welding procedures. 
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols to ensure accurate execution. 
  • Set up welding equipment, selecting appropriate materials, gas, and welding parameters. 
  • Prepare and clean surfaces for welding, ensuring proper fit-up and alignment. 
  • Inspect welds for quality, completeness, and conformance to specifications. 
  • Troubleshoot welding issues and resolve problems as they arise. 
  • Maintain equipment and tools in safe working condition. 
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of protective gear and compliance with welding codes.
