Billing Civil Engineer

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Billing Engineer responsible for preparation, verification, and submission of client bills, subcontractor bills, quantity reconciliation, and project cost monitoring. The candidate should have sound knowledge of BOQ, quantity estimation, rate analysis, and billing procedures in civil construction projects.

>>Key Responsibilities

1) Billing & Quantity Surveying

• Prepare and submit RA (Running Account) Bills and Final Bills as per contract conditions.
• Measure and verify executed quantities from site records and drawings.
• Prepare quantity abstracts, measurement sheets, and bill certification documents.
• Coordinate with site engineers for work progress and quantity verification.
• Maintain billing records, work orders, BOQs, and contractual documents.

2) Cost Control & Reconciliation

• Prepare material reconciliation statements for cement, steel, concrete, and other construction materials.
• Monitor project costs against BOQ quantities and budgets.
• Identify quantity variations and prepare variation statements.
• Assist in preparation of extra item and deviation claims.

3) Subcontractor & Vendor Billing

• Verify subcontractor and supplier bills.
• Check quantities, rates, and supporting documents before certification.
• Maintain payment records and billing status reports.
• Documentation & ReportingPrepare daily, weekly, and monthly billing reports.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project teams for bill approvals.

>>Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
• Understanding of RCC, masonry, plastering, finishing, and infrastructure works.
• Knowledge of rate analysis and cost control.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office.
• Experience in preparing RA Bills and Final Bills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
