weekly off  •  All festivals and peak days mandatory

Key Responsibilities

BILLING & CASH

●    Handle all cash, UPI, card, and digital payment transactions accurately at the counter

●    Generate bills and issue receipts to customers using the POS billing system

●    Maintain daily cash register and prepare accurate opening and closing balance reports

●    Reconcile daily sales with POS records and submit end-of-day cash summary to management

UPSELLING & CUSTOMER ENGAGEMENT

●    Actively upsell higher-value items, combo packs, and add-ons to every customer at the billing counter

●    Suggest seasonal specials, new launches, and bestsellers to increase average order value

●    Involve customers in ongoing promotional activities — offers, festive combos, loyalty programs, and special deals

●    Communicate ongoing discounts and schemes clearly and confidently to every walk-in customer

WAITING & CROWD MANAGEMENT

●    Manage customer waiting queue during peak hours — maintain order, fairness, and patience at all times

●    Provide estimated wait times and keep customers informed and comfortable while they wait

●    Coordinate with service and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow and minimise wait time

GENERAL

●    Handle customer queries regarding bills, pricing, and payment options politely and promptly

●    Monitor and report any billing discrepancies or cash shortages immediately to the manager

●    Maintain cleanliness and organisation at the billing counter at all times

Candidate Requirements

MUST HAVE

●    

Minimum 1–2 years cashier

experience in restaurant or food retail

●    

Proven ability to upsell and

engage customers

●    

Strong numerical accuracy and

attention to detail

●    

Comfortable managing waiting

queues during busy hours

●    

Honest, trustworthy and highly

responsible

GOOD TO HAVE

●    

Experience with any POS billing

software

●    

Basic knowledge of GST billing

●    

Fluent in Gujarati and Hindi;

basic English a plus

●    

Class 12 / graduation preferred
