Job Description
Plan and schedule daily dispatches of vehicles or deliveries.
Assign drivers and routes based on workload and priorities.
Monitor vehicle locations and delivery progress.
Communicate with drivers, customers, and warehouse staff.
Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of goods.
Resolve delivery delays, route changes, and emergencies.
Maintain dispatch records, logs, and delivery documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
Coordinate vehicle maintenance and report breakdowns.
Track fuel usage, mileage, and transportation costs.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch reports.
Improve route efficiency and optimize resource utilization.
Handle customer inquiries related to shipment status.
Ensure safety standards are followed during transportation.
