Job Description – Floor Supervisor (Warehouse)Department: Warehouse Operations
Reporting To: Warehouse Manager / Operations Manager
Job PurposeTo supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, ensure smooth material movement, maintain inventory accuracy, and achieve safe and timely dispatch of shipments.
- Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise warehouse floor operations and staff.
- Monitor receiving, sorting, loading, and dispatch activities.
- Allocate daily work and manage manpower.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of goods.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and stock discipline.
- Verify operational documents and shipment records.
- Ensure adherence to safety, housekeeping, and company SOPs.
- Coordinate with Operations, Transport, and Customer Service teams.
- Report operational issues and prepare daily MIS reports.
- Maintain discipline, productivity, and timely completion of work.
