Job Summary
The Inside Sales Engineer is responsible for managing customer inquiries, preparing
Techno-commercial proposals, and supporting the sales team in achieving business targets. This role involves handling client communication, understanding technical requirements, and providing appropriate product solutions to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle inbound and outbound sales inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
• Understand customer technical requirements and recommend suitable products/solutions
• Prepare and submit accurate techno-commercial quotations
• Follow up with customers for order finalization and closure
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
• Coordinate with production, dispatch, and logistics teams for order execution
• Maintain and update customer database, sales records, and reports
• Assist in achieving monthly and annual sales targets
• Provide post-sales support and address customer concerns
• Collaborate with field sales engineers for lead conversion and project support
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / relevant field) 1–5 years of experience in inside sales / technical sales (preferred)
Freshers with strong technical knowledge and communication skills may also apply
Required Skills
• Strong technical understanding of products and applications
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Knowledge of ERP/CRM systems is an advantage
• Ability to read technical drawings/specifications (preferred)
• Strong follow-up and customer handling skills
• Good organizational and time management abilities

Working Conditions
