Job Description

  • Key ResponsibilitiesReview and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.

  • Dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter products.
  • Counsel patients on medication dosage, administration, side effects, interactions, and storage.
  • Monitor patients for drug interactions, allergies, and adverse reactions.
  • Maintain accurate patient medication records.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Manage medication inventory, including ordering, stocking, and expiry monitoring.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff where applicable.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient therapy.
  • Administer vaccinations and other clinical services, where permitted.
  • Maintain cleanliness, security, and organization of the pharmacy.
