Position Overview

The Senior CNC Programmer and Production Planner will oversee the end-to-end process of component programming, tooling, and production scheduling. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Mazak CNC machines using the Mazatrol programming system and a working knowledge of Carl Zeiss CMM operations for quality validation.

This role requires both technical expertise and leadership capability to optimize production efficiency and maintain quality standards.

• Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize CNC programs using Mazatrol for turning and milling operations on Mazak machines.
• Plan and coordinate daily production schedules, ensuring timely completion of machining jobs.
• Review component drawings and select appropriate tools, cutting parameters, and machining strategies.
• Supervise setup, prove-out, and first-off inspections to ensure conformance with design specifications.
• Operate and interpret measurement data using Carl Zeiss CMM for dimensional validation and quality assurance.
• Collaborate closely with the quality and maintenance teams to resolve process or dimensional issues.
• Maintain programming documentation, tool libraries, and production records.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior programmers and machine operators.
• QualificationsDiploma or Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or equivalent technical background.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in CNC programming and production planning, preferably in precision component manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Mazatrol and Mazak machine operations is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of Carl Zeiss CMM systems and associated software (Calypso preferred).
• Strong understanding of GDT, machining processes, and quality control principles.
• Excellent planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
