Job Description – Telecaller

Key Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to potential clients from provided and independently sourced databases.

Introduce the company’s wire and cable product range, product features, and pricing to potential clients.

Understand client requirements 

Schedule meetings, appointments, or site visits for senior sales representatives.

Maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, enquiries, and client interactions.

Share marketing materials, product catalogues, brochures, and quotations through WhatsApp or email.

Gather market intelligence regarding competitor activities, product demand, and pricing.

Follow up with potential and existing customers regarding enquiries, quotations, orders, and requirements.

Meet or exceed assigned daily/weekly calling and lead-generation targets.

Coordinate with the Sales and Accounts teams whenever required to ensure smooth processing of customer orders.

Additional Responsibility – In the Absence of Accountant

In case the Accountant is absent, the Telecaller will be responsible for handling the following basic order-processing activities to ensure that regular business operations are not affected:

Prepare Purchase Orders (PO) as required.

Prepare Sales Orders (SO) based on customer requirements and approved orders.

Prepare Delivery Orders (DO) for dispatch of goods.

Prepare Billing Invoices as instructed and as per approved sales orders.

Coordinate with the Sales, Accounts, Purchase, and Dispatch teams for PO, SO, DO, and billing-related activities.

Ensure that all required documents are prepared accurately and on time.

Maintain proper records of documents prepared during the Accountant’s absence.

Hand over all pending documents and related information to the Accountant once they resume duty.
